FM2200 will restore the factory default settings and automatically reboot.
After the reset, the unit default configuration is restored and the administra-
tor’s password is set to:
Username: admin
Password: admin
3.2.6 Installing a Video-Encoder into the enclosure
One or more video-encoders can be installed directly within the enclosure.
To install a video encoder, use the internal video-server mounting kit pro-
vided with the FM2200. The kit contains a movable plate that can be fixed to
the enclosure. The movable plate can be placed at different heights based
on the size of the video server. You can attach the video-server(s) on the
moveable plate using the slots provided.
The FM2200 comes with a internal power supply with input between 12
and 24V, either AC or DC. The recommended input is 24V. The internal low
voltage power supply integrates two auxiliary output connectors at 12V DC
to power encoders or other devices. The sum of all electrical devices con-
nected to the internal power supply
must result in a power consumption
below 30W.
In case you need to operate the unit directly connected to a high voltage in-
put (for example 110V AC or 240V AC), Fluidmesh provides a high voltage
power supply kit (part number FM2200E-HVPS) that can be mounted either
directly inside the FM2200 enclosure or outside. The High Voltage Power
Supply kit includes a 35W power supply, cables and a mounting adapter to
mount the power supply inside the FM2200 enclosure.
No other electronic device such as high voltage power supply, encoder,
network switch, PoE injector, etc. should be installed inside the FM2200
enclosure in case you have to operate the unit in a territory where CE or
UL marking is required. CE and UL marks are automatically voided in case
you mount anything within the FM2200 enclosure.
