Mounting the Jumbo Touch Panel Assembly
The Jumbo Touch Panel is mounted using the
existing screws and screw holes of the freezer’s
light box display. Currently, the Jumbo Touch
Panel system has models compatible with
Taylor C300, C303, C314, and C302 freezers
where the light box display is mounted on the
top of the freezer.
JBT-80FCB-2B: A special bracket is used
when mounting the Jumbo Touch Panel on a
C300. The 2-barrel freezer is not wide enough
to support all three hinges without the bracket.
NOTE: DUE TO SLIGHT MANUFACTURING
DIFFERENCES, SOME DRILLING MAY BE
NECESSARY IF THE SCREW HOLES DO
NOT LINE UP WITH THE HINGES.
NOTE:
AT LEAST 2 PEOPLE ARE
REQUIRED FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
THE JUMBO TOUCH PANEL SCREEN.
1. With one person holding the light box
display and another person operating a
screwdriver, loosen and remove the 6
screws from the manufacturer’s light box
display hinges.
2. Remove the manufacturer’s light box
display from the freezer. Keep the six
freezer screws for the Jumbo Touch Panel.
3. If you are installing the Jumbo Touch Panel
on a 2-barrel C300 freezer, skip to Step 5.
When installing it on a C303 3-barrel
freezer, or C314 / C302 4-barrel freezer
proceed to the next step.
4. 3- & 4-BARREL FREEZER INSTALLATION:
With one person holding the Jumbo Touch
Panel in place, and one person operating a
screwdriver, line up the hinges or bracket
with the screw holes on top of the freezer.
Use the screws from the old display to
secure the Jumbo Touch Panel hinges to
the freezer. Then, skip to Step 10.
NOTE: IF THE SCREW HOLES AND HINGE
HOLES DO NOT LINE UP, USE A DRILL WITH
A 1/4” DRILL BIT TO CREATE THE
NECESSARY HOLES IN THE FREEZER.
5. 2-BARREL FREEZER INSTALLATION:
When installing the Jumbo Touch Panel on
a 2-barrel C300 freezer, a conversion
bracket is included with the JBT 80FCB-2S
system to secure the entire width of the
Jumbo Touch Panel across the more
narrow C300 freezer. The Jumbo Touch
Panel will extend past the freezer on both
sides.
