Priming the Syrup System
Priming the syrups is necessary when first
installing the flavors, after the Clean-In-Place
procedure, when an individual flavor or multiple
flavors remain idle for more than 72 hours, and
when changing flavors. Only the syrup lines
directly involved will require this process.
1. Press and hold the top left corner area on
the Jumbo Touch Panel screen to access
the Flavor Burst Maintenance Menu. If the
screen asks for a password, enter the
password.
2. Select “Priming Functions” in the
Maintenance Menu.
3. Select the flavor button of the line to be
primed. The button will pulse as syrup is
pumped through the line.
4. The priming function will continue for a
preset amount of time (see “Flushing and
Priming Settings” of the Maintenance
Menu). Continue to prime the line till the
syrup flowing from the spout is thick and
undiluted. You can also press a flavor key
while priming to interrupt the prime function.
5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to prime any other
flavors that have been changed.
6. When no additional flavors need to be
installed, draw a serving to clear the door
spout opening of any residual flavor.
NOTE: TO CHANGE THE FLAVOR BUTTONS
ON THE MENU SCREEN, GO TO THE
“SETUP TRAYS AND DISPENSE SPEEDS”
OF THE MAINTENANCE MENU AND PRESS
ANY FLAVOR DESPCRIPTION TO RENAME.
