Switching the Instrument on and off

Communication between Instrument and WinFTM

Communication between instrument and WinFTM is necessary to obtain measurements
with the instrument.

Determining the current communication condition



If the communication is enabled, the measurement distance appears in the status bar.



If the communication is disabled,

XRAY Communication OFF

appears in the status

bar of the WinFTM window.

It is not possible to make measurements when the communication is disabled, that is,
when WinFTM is in demo mode.

To enable the communication
