7.9.1  Replacement of the fuel filter

Fig. 7.9.1-1: Fuel Filter

Exchanging the filter, depending upon fuel contamination, should take place 
after 300 operational hours at the very least. The inlet must be clamped, 
before exchanging the filter.

Remove the hoses from the used filter and fasten them to the new filter. The 
arrow on the filter housing indicates the direction of the fuel flow. A clogged 
filter causes a decreased power output of the generator.

The filter change depends on the fuels’ degree of pollution, but should be 
executed every 300 operating hours at the latest.
