Operator Controls

The operator controls the lifting, lowering,
and aeration from a hand-held control box
with three switches (Figure 3).

The operator accesses the engine controls
via its control panel found opposite its oil
filter side.

Engine Throttle Control
The throttle is used to control engine speed.
Moving the throttle lever upward will
increase engine speed and moving
downward will decrease engine speed.

Choke Control
The choke is used to aid in starting a cold
engine. Pulling the choke outward will put
the choke in the “ON” position and pushing
the knob inward, will put the choke in the
“OFF” position. Do Not run a warm engine
with choke in the “ON” position.

Ignition Switch
The ignition switch is used to start and stop
the engine. The switch has three positions
“OFF”, “RUN” and “START”. Insert key
into switch and rotate clockwise to the
“RUN” position. Rotate clockwise to the
next position to engage the starter (key must
be held against spring pressure in this
