3.1

General instructions on mounting and dismantling

Special information on replacing or adding pneumatic components can be found in

chapter 5.

–

Information on mounting the MPA-S valve terminal with CPX terminal can be found in

the CPX system manual.

–

Information on dismounting and mounting of I/O modules is provided in the I/O mod-

ule description (

system description for your CPX terminal, table “Descriptions for

the CPX terminal”).

–

Information on mounting modules and components ordered at a later stage can be

found in the package insert.

Warning

Accidental movements of the connected actuators and disconnected tubing lines can

cause injury to persons and/or material damage.

Before carrying out mounting, installation and maintenance work, switch off the follow-

ing:

–

Compressed air supply

–

Operating and load voltage supplies.

Note

Handle all modules and components of the MPA-S valve terminal with care. Make sure

that the specified torques are complied with.

Electrostatically sensitive devices:
