9. Insert a new retaining ring in the pinion and check the retaining ring for

correct fit.

10. Push the covers into the guides.

Check the position of the cylindrical dowel pin in the housing when pushing

in the flange.

11.

Push the flange into the pinion.

12.

Screw the socket head screws through the flange and into the housing and

tighten them using the appropriate tightening torque (see table).
