Festo 7DHTGd_en

4.  Insert the compression springs and sleeves in the guides in the plate.

5.  Place the ring gear on the sleeves with the countersinks facing downwards.

Note

If there is a heavy-duty spring pin in the plate (from series F8), it is not possi-
ble to mount index plates without an additional hole.

Note

Note the position of the centring bolts in the plate when placing the index 
plate.

6.  Place the index plate on the ring gear with the countersinks for the counter-

sunk screws facing upwards.

Note

The ring gear is equipped with overload protection. This is subjected to 
spring tension and can tilt and become damaged if the countersunk screws 
are tightened on one side.

7.  Screw in the countersunk screws and tighten with tightening torque 7 Nm.
