Installation
Mechanical installation

Do not modify the settings of screws and
threaded pins if there is no request to do
this in these operating instructions.
S
Fit the motor onto the axis in accordance
with the assembly instructions for the
motor mounting kit recommended in the
catalogue.
Installing the product:
Note
Heavy tensile loads may cause the screws in the cover to be pulled out.
S
Please note that in the case of heavy loadings the axis must not be
fastened only by the bearing cap.
S
Make sure that the device is fitted free of
mechanical stress and distortion.
(evenness of bearing surface:

0.05% of the stroke length; max. 0.5mm).

Position the EGC so that all the operating
parts are accessible.
S
Adhere to the required support spacings.
The diagrams in chapter 13 Characteristic curves" show the support spacing
which depends on the mounting position and useful load.
If the specified minimum spacings are exceeded, it is imperative to carry out an
individual functional test.
Note
Unsuitable mounting techniques can reduce the service life of the EGC conside
rably.

Make sure that the mounting components are outside the positioning range
of the slide.
