SAFETY

•

To properly protect children outside 
these limits, specific restraint systems 
with dedicated belts or accessories 
capable of adapting the child’s 
position to the vehicle’s seatbelts must 
be fitted.

For installation and use of the child 
restraint systems, follow the instructions 
provided by the restraint system 
manufacturer. 

CAUTION
Do not install rearward-mounting 

child seats on the front passenger seat 
if the airbag is enabled, as this could 
cause serious injuries in the event of 
deployment. 
Do not tamper with the seat belts or 
child restraint systems. Established 
legislation in some countries already 
provides that children under 12 years 
of age may not travel in the front 
passenger seat.

The sticker 

B

 prohibits installing a 

child’s seat facing rearwards on the front 
passenger seat. 

CAUTION
If you have to carry a child, always 

turn off the passenger side airbag 
(optional) on vehicles that are 
equipped with it, before placing the
