IN AN EMERGENCY

ENGINE MALFUNCTION 

ALARM DEVICES

If the 

“engine check system failure” 

warning light comes on flashing or 
permanently when the engine is running, 
it means that there may be a fault in the 
engine or emission control system.
The electronic system detects and 
isolates the error, preventing damage to 
the engine or the production of noxious 
emissions.

CAUTION
When the warning light “Engine check 

system failure” comes on, engine 
performance may also considerably be 
reduced.
Drive carefully, avoiding sudden 
acceleration and high speeds.

REPLACING THE BRAKE PADS 

AND DISCS 

The brake failure warning light will 
come on to indicate excessive wear of 
the brake pads, which must be replaced 
immediately.

CAUTION
In order to ensure the quality of 

components and accurate installation, 
it is recommended that you have the 
procedure carried out at the 

Ferrari 

Service Network

.

For best running-in of the pads 
following replacement, avoid sudden 
and sharp braking until the new pads 
have duly run-in.
