8 Setup and installation
8.1 Safety instructions
WARNING
Improper setup and installation
Severe injuries and damage to property
− Work may only be carried out by authorised, trained per-
sonnel who are familiar with how to operate the machine and
are in strict observance of all safety instructions.

Only assemble and install the machine if the machine and all
of the parts are complete and intact.
● Before setup and installation, inspect the machine to ensure that it is com-
plete and in technically good condition.
● Keep the work area orderly and clean. Components and tools that are not
put in their correct place or put away could cause accidents!
● Ensure that there is sufficient space to work around the machine.
Force-actuated workpieces could be a hazard when processing. Keep suffi-
cient distance from walls, machines and fixed objects.
● Install the safety equipment according to the instructions and check that they
function properly.
● The foundation must comply with the norms stipulated in the technical lay-
outs.
● The foundation must be non-slip.
● Load bearing ability, finish and surface must remain as they are, perma-
nently.
● The working area must be adequately lit.
● Temperature range: 10°C to 40°C with an average value of max.
35°C/24h
● Humidity: max. 95 % non-wetting
