In order to comply with environmental requirements, we recommend that collect the waste oil
into a sealed container, send to the local service station or recycling center near your
location. Do not spill the oil on the ground or garbage.
Maintenance of air filter
The dirty air filter will block the air into the carburetor. To prevent the carburetor from malfunctioning,
check the air filter following the maintenance schedule. If you use the generator in a particularly
dirty place, you need to keep the maintenance regularly.
WARNING

Do not use gasoline or low-ignition solvents to clean the generators because they are
flammable and explosive under certain conditions.
Check the air filter core to make sure it's clean and the performance is normal.

Remove the side maintenance cover screws, open the side maintenance cover.

Remove the three screws on the air filter box.

Pull out the air filter drawer as shown by the arrow below.
 Pull out the air filter drawer, check the air filter sponge, and if necessary, clean or replace the
filter.
 Clean or replace the filter and then follow the opposite action to install the air filter back.
Maintenance of Spark Plug
Use recommended spark plug (NGK F7RTC):
In order to ensure the best operation of the engine, the spark plug clearance must be appropriate.
 Remove the top maintenance cover screws and remove the top maintenance cover plate.

Pull the ignition coil out.

Remove the spark plug with a spark plug removal tool.
