Correct any uneven gaps that exist between
the motor and motor adapter by loosening
all precision leveling feet and adjusting the
leveling foot at the discharge end of the
pump. Complete by readjusting the rest of
the loosened leveling feet.
NOTES:
Re-check the inlet precision leveling
foot to make sure the motor adapter is properly
aligned with the motor. If necessary, make any
corrections using the adjustment nuts at the
inlet precision leveling foot.

If a gap exists between the motor adapter
and motor, use feeler gauges (provided) to
measure the gap at the top and the bottom
of the motor adapter.
NOTES:
In some instances, there may be no
gap between the motor and motor adapter.
NOTES:
These values should be identical with
the “A” & “B” values found in the
Start Up Re

section of this manual.

7. Loosen the in-line jacking bolt until the pump
is against the motor making sure the pump
shaft key slides smoothly into the flexible
coupling.
NOTES:
Make sure the pump shaft key does
not jam or fall out during installation.
