If a gap exists between the motor adapter
and motor, use feeler gauges (provided) to
measure the gap at the top and the bottom
of the motor adapter.
NOTES:
In some instances, there may be no
gap between the motor and motor adapter.
In that case the motor and motor adapter are
properly aligned.
NOTES:
This step does not apply for units with
no motor adapter.

Loosen the in-line jacking bolt to bring the
pump and motor adapter as close to the
motor as possible. If necessary, rotate the
adjustment nuts on the inlet precision level-
ling foot to align the motor adapter height
with the motor.
NOTES:
This adjustment should be re-checked
each
time an adjustment is made to the dis-
charge housing precision leveling foot.
NOTES:
For units with no motor adapter, use
the inlet precision leveling foot to precisely
align the pump center line height with the motor
center line height.
