3.8  Battery

Only use batteries approved by Dynapac on the machine.

Observe the supplied operating instructions for the battery.

Store or ship the battery only in the approved and supplied original

container.

Do not bring the battery into contact with water.

Avoid fire, heat and flying sparks, as well as direct sunlight.

Do not subject the battery to mechanical pressure or shock.

Damage can lead to short circuits, overheating and exothermic

chemical reactions. Damaged batteries must not be used. If neces-

sary, clear the danger zone and take measures to prevent danger.

Keep the battery clean and dry. Remove dirt or moisture with a dry,

clean cloth.

Only the chargers approved by Dynapac may be used to charge

the battery. Charge the battery according to the operating instruc-

tions of the corresponding charger. Observe national regulations!

Repairs or modifications to the battery, the converter or the wiring

are not permitted.
