Using your bicycle
Falls may result in short circuits
in the battery pack, causing it to
catch fire.
· Following a fall or an accident, leave
the bicycle outdoors for an hour,
away from inflammable material.
· Touch the battery pack briefly with
a finger. If it seems unusually hot,
leave the bicycle where it is.
Do not continue to use it for any rea-
son. As soon as the battery pack has
cooled down, take the bicycle to the
vendor for the necessary checks.
If you notice flames or smoke
coming from the battery pack,
stop the bicycle immediately.
Put the fire out using an extinguish-
er, if possible. If you do not have an
extinguisher, wait until the fire ex-
tinguishes itself and that all the bi-
cycle parts have cooled down.
At this point, take the bicycle to a
specialized dealer immediately.
If there is a risk of the fire spreading
to surrounding objects, contact the
Fire Service without delay.
· Do not attempt to ride your bicycle
again until it has been inspected in a
specialized workshop, and repaired
if necessary.
