Select option 1-4 Installation valve. The following will appear on the display:
Settings 1, 2, 3 and 4 can be easily made using the valve cards included (see appendix) .
Section
The number of the section in which the valve is situated. This number is
important when animals are entered in the section
Circuit number
The number of the circuit to which the valve is connected.
Serial number
The serial number where the valve is mounted to a certain circuit. The
computer will always feed the valves in the order of the serial numbers.
Position
The position (in pulses) on the circuit. To enable the system to function
correctly, these distances have to be determined and entered as accurately as
possible.
Relay assignment
Valve assignment (see section 5.1.3 point 2). This setting depends on several
other settings such as the control and the way of connection.
If the valves are activated directly, and there are more than 480 valves, a second communication
board (IMC.780) should be placed in slot S2. The relay assignment will not be 1xxx but 2xxx, to
indicate that the relay is mounted to the second communication board.
Feeder sensor
This setting indicates if a feeder sensor is present at the valve concerned.
To make the settings for a following valve, press the - key.
