How can I avoid double triggers?
In the first step you should check the head tension of the affected pad. This should be even and not
too loose. Furthermore you should make sure that the pad is mounted correctly and does not vibrate
too much. If you still have problems with double triggers, you can change the trigger settings (GAIN
and THRES) on the TRIG page in the MIXER-UNIT menu. See Section 8.2 for more information.
How can I assign individual drum channels to direct outputs?
The Hybrid Pro provides you with many routing options. Read in chapter 13 which settings you have
to make in order to assign single channels directly to the output sockets.
Can I connect two pads to one input and assign different sounds to them?
This is possible. The drum channels KICK and SNARE have a parallel PERC channel, which can be
used separately by means of a Y-split cable.
Can I assign a separate MIDI channel to each drum channel?
Yes, in the MIXER-UNIT menu on the INTF page.
I have lost a cable. Do I have to buy something specific?
The Fame Hybrid Pro cables are standard stereo jack cables (6.3 mm).
Can I use the Hybrid Pro with acoustic triggers?
Of course you can use triggers. The Hybrid-Pro works perfectly with the products of major
manufacturers, the most common triggers have been successfully tested with the Hybrid Pro. We
recommend the Fame Pro Trigger Pack, for which you can download the preconfigured settings. In
the MIXER-UNIT menu on the TRIG page you will find special trigger TYPES (AcTr1, AcTr2 and AcTr3)
as well as other parameters (GAIN, THRES), with which you can adjust the module perfectly for the
use with acoustic triggers.
