On this page you configure the global routing and MIDI settings for each individual trigger channel.
Here you determine to which BUS the respective signals should be routed and with which settings you
can control the individual channels via MIDI.
ZONES:
Here you can see how many (sound) zones are assigned to the trigger channel. The number
of zones indicates how many MIDI notes are used for the channel. Please note that for all Trigger
Channels that use several zones, the MIDI notes of these zones follow each other directly and are
connected with each other.
Example
: CRASH 2 has 4 zones and B4 as assigned MIDI note. The MIDI assignment for Cymbal 2 is
therefore:
B4 = Bell, C5 = Bow, C#5 = Edge, D5 = Choke Function
FADER:
Here you can select to which FADER group in the internal mixer (see also MIX) the respective
trigger channel should be assigned. Please note that only the first six FADER Groups can be used for
this, the groups LINE, ACMP are permanently assigned.
CHAN:
Here you configure the MIDI channel via which MIDI signals for the respective channel are to
be sent or received. You can assign a separate MIDI channel to each individual channel. In the factory
setting, the global MIDI channel is used for all channels (see also Page MIDI). This channel is marked
with "!" and can also be assigned manually by turning the DATA knob all the way to the right.
NOTE↓:
Here you define under which MIDI note the respective channel can receive and transmit
"NOTE ON" and "NOTE OFF" commands. Channels with several zones use several consecutive MIDI
notes (see also ZONES, and explanations of MIDI notes). Press the push-button of the DATA knob
while holding down the MORE key to switch between the note display (e.g. "C1") and the display of
the corresponding MIDI note number (e.g. "24").
The MIDI note number "0" matches the MIDI note "C-1". The range 0 (C1) to 127 (G9) is available.
