Emergency lowering General
In emergencies or in case of failure of electrical
functions may need to use emergency pump or
the manual hand pump. Emergency lift valves
are located on the turret.
It is recommended, if possible, to retract
telescopes together fi rst.
If the emergency valves are used the stability
system does not work.
See the warning below.
WARNING
If the lift is controlled from the ground
using emergency valves directly, the entire
safety system is inoperative. When the lift
is operated directly with the emergency
valves the ”retraction of telescopes” is the
only function that may be used until the
telescopes are fully retracted. If this is not
followed it can cause injury or death.
All movements must be used very slowly to
avoid damage to buildings, windows etc.
If there is still power on the battery and the
electric pump operation will start at the back of
front end of the lift.
See fi g. 35c # 6
Valve handle (fi g.35a # 1) mounted on the
function to be moved according to label
mounted behind the screen of functional
valves.
Fig.35c # 3 shows the location of functional
valves.
- Start emergency pump on the emergency
start pump switch.
- Move the valve handle moved in the desired
direction.
If possible, retract the telescope completely
before using main boom or Z-Link down.
