3.2.14 Optional Settings
The following configuration settings
STORAGE<id>
and
SAVE.LASTVALID
are created
from the system itself and need therefore not being changed manually. They are just
named and explained as a reference.
3.2.14.1 STORAGE<id>
Parameter syntax
STORAGE<
id
>
Used to store data such as current trigger, counter timer or position information to
non-volatile memory. These 5 storage are software controlled and used to keep
certain information even when MAMBOII is shut down rather than by user. Each
storage index may contain only one user data set (i.e. a position or a
trigger/counter/timer value).
Example:
If a timer value is saved to index 0, only a system timer may load its value and
setting from this configuration index. Any attempt to load e.g. Trigger0 from
storage index 0 will fail as the type of stored data doesn’t match.
Following responses can be available:
R
Indicates a Trigger state.
C
Indicates a Counter state
T
Indicates a Timer state
P
Indicates a Position (GPS position).
Example:
$STORAGE4=R0
//indicates a Trigger state.
<id>
Specifies a number form
0
to
4
.
Get configuration
$PFAL,Cnf.Get,STORAGE0
….
3.2.14.2 SAVE.LASTVALID
Parameter syntax
SAVE.LASTVALID
This parameter is a software controlled parameter and used to store the last valid
position of the device to non-volatile memory when MAMBOII is shut down. It is
automatically updated with new data when the command
GPS.Nav.SaveLastValid
is executed. However, it can be clear using the command
PFAL.Cnf.Set.
3.2.14.3 USERTXT<text>
Parameter syntax
USERTXT<
text
>
This parameter is a software controlled parameter and used to store a specific user
text into the non-volatile memory when MAMBO II is shut down. However, it can be
clear using the command
PFAL.Cnf.Set
without given any text and read using
PFAL.Cnf.Get
.
<text>
Specifies the text to be stored to non-volatile memory. Up to 250 characters are
allowed.
