Y AXIS
Without the Y axis option, the Y axis will only be available without cycles, calibration or Y axis
compensation.
Both for programming and displaying, the Y axis format will always be determined as radius, not
as diameter.
4.1 Profiling cycles with Y axis
Profile cycles in YZ and XY may be accessed with their relevant icons from either of the two levels
of profile cycles ZC and XC respectively.
The parameters of the cycles in the Y axis planes are equivalent to those in the C plane (ZC, XC),
except for the radius (R) of the ZC profile that is not used in the YZ plane and it uses the X coordinate,
instead.
A data is added in the two cycles that use the Y axis to indicate the starting angle of the spindle (W).
4.2 Graphics: XY and ZY plane selection
The XY and ZY planes may be selected using the relevant softkeys shown in the <graphics> window
similar to that of the C axis planes, XC and ZC.
This icon selects the planes of the Y axis (YZ, XY). Selecting a plane of the Y axis
changes the graphics on the screen.
