AUTOMATIC RELATIVE MODE
To start the AUTO RELATIVE when and AUTO is already selected, press on the home screen

When in AUTO RELATIVE mode, the meter can be readjusted by pressing

In the automatic relative mode, the present flux density as seen by the probe is used as the relative offset value.
Prepare the probe and select an appropriate range and mode (AC or DC) as needed (AUTO RANGE is deactivated when RELATIVE MODE is
used).
To automatically assign the current reading as the relative offset value, select the AUTO RELATIVE operation. When complete, the unit will
return to the measurement mode and the info box will display “Relative: Auto” indicating that a relative value is being subtracted from all
subsequent readings.
Difference between ZERO and RELATIVE: ZERO introduces an electrical offset signal into the circuitry.
RELATIVE is strictly a mathematical process.
