• Inspect the condition of the spark plug and its
electrode. It must be clean and not worn.
• Check that the spark plug gap is between 0.7
and 0.8mm (Fig. 15)
• Replace the spark plug with a new one if need
-
ed.
• Carefully thread the spark plug into the engine
by hand.
• Once threaded, use the appropriate spark plug
tool to firmly tighten the spark plug.
• Re-attach the spark plug wire.
AIR FILTER
• Unscrew the bolt from the air filter cover and
remove the cover.
• Make sure that the air filter is free from dirt and
in a good condition.
• If the air filter is dirty, remove and clean it. Wash
the foam element in a solution of household de
-
tergent and warm water, then rinse thorough-
ly, or wash in non flammable or hish flashpoint
solvent.
• Gently squeeze the oil filter. Allow the foam ele
-
ment to dry thoroughly.
• Soak the foam element in clean engine oil and
gently squeeze out any excess oil. The engine
will smoke during initial startup if too much oil
is left in the foam element.
• Reinstall the foam element to the air cleaner
cover.
• Reinstall the air filter and follow the reverse pro
-
cedure to put back again the air filter cover.
NOTICE:
If the engine frequently works under
high temperature or heavy load, change the oil
every 25 hours. If the engine frequently works
under dusty or other severe circumstances, clean
the air filter element every 10 hours. If necessary,
change the air filter element every 25 hours.
STORAGE
The generator should be started at least once every
week. If this cannot be done and you must store
the unit for more than 30 days, following the below
guidelines.
• Close the fuel valve:
• Drain the fuel from the fuel tank.
• Drain the fuel from the carburator manually or
run the generator until it runs out of fuel
• Remove the oil filler cap and drain plug to drain
the oil.
• Tighten the oil drain plug and fill the engine with
new oil.
• Reposition the oil filler cap and tighten it.
• Pull the starter grip carefully until resistance is
felt.
• Store the generator in a clean area.

should be sorted for environment - friendly recy

cling. The plastic components are labeled for cat

egorized recycling.

This product is warranted in accordance with the le-
gal/ country specific regulations, effective from the
date of purchase by the first user. Damage attribut
-
able to normal wear and tear, overload or improper
handling will be excluded from the warranty. In case
of a claim, please send the machine, completely as
-
sembled, to your dealer or the official service center.
