VIII. Maintenance
and Repair
y
The compressor pump does not need any
special maintenance during the course of its
lifetime lubricating.
y
In the event that the compressor is not
being charged while the car‘s engine is
running, it is possible that the fuse of the
12 V connector charging cable is damaged.
Screw out the flange on the front part of
the 12 V connector and carefully remove the
tube fuse F 10 A 250 AL with dimensions:
Ø 6 × 30 mm (there is a spring under the
fuse that compensates for any minor devia-
tions in length). In the event that the fuse is
faulty, replace it with a new one according
to the provided technical specifications (the
fuse can be purchased at a specified store).
y
In the event that cleaning of the surface of
the appliance is necessary, use a damp cloth,
prevent water from entering the tool. Do not
use any aggressive cleaning agents (abrasi-
ves and corrosive compounds) and organic
solvents. This would result in damage to the
outer casing of the tool.
y
For safety reasons, original replacement
parts supplied by the manufacturer must be
used for repairs. In the event that the char-
ger is damaged, replace it with the original
mode with the part number specified in
table 2.

IX. Storage
y
Protect the compressor against rain, frost,
high humidity, ingression of water, high
temperatures (over 50 °C), against direct
sunlight, against mechanical damage
(impacts and falls). Store the compressor
fully charged, and to achieve the longest
possible battery lifetime, fully charge the
compressor after several months of storage
(every 6 months).
•
ATTENTION
y
In the event that the compressor is exposed
to the effects of frost or high temperature,
e.g. where the compressor is part of a set of
accessories in a car that is parked outdoors,
then the lifetime of the built-in battery is
significantly reduced - see respective para-
graph in chapter V.
y
Protect the DC socket of the compressor
against soiling, deformation or other
damages, and against conductive bridging
of the contacts by taping over the connec-
tors, e.g. using plastic tape, which prevents
short-circuiting it and subsequent fire or
explosion.
y
Ensure that children do not play with the
compressor.
XI. Waste disposal
PACKAGING MATERIALS
y
Throw packaging materials into a container
for the respective sorted waste.
y
Do not dispose of unserviceable commodities
in household waste, but rather hand them
over for the ecological disposal of electrical
equipment. According to Directive (EU)
2012/19, electrical appliances must not be
thrown out with household
waste, but rather handed over for
ecological disposal at an electrical
equipment collection point.
y
The built-in Li-ion battery must be removed
from the electrical equipment prior to its
disposal. The battery must be separately
handed over for ecological disposal (pursu-
ant to Directive 2006/66 EC). You can find
information about waste collection points
and waste collection conditions for
electrical equipment and batteries
from your vendor or at your local
town council office.
