y
Prior to inserting the power plug of the char-
ging adapter into a power socket, first check
whether the voltage and frequency in the
power supply correspond to the values on
the rating label of the charger.
y
In the event that the compressor is charged
from a car battery, the compressor must be
charged using a battery with a rated voltage
of 12 V. Using car batteries with a higher
voltage, e.g. from trucks, is forbidden.
y
The compressor must be charged from the
car battery while to car is running, i.e. while
the car‘s engine is running, to prevent the
car battery from becoming discharged.
CONNECTING INFLATING
ACCESSORIES
1. Screw the air hose into the thread of the
compressor for the connection of an air
hose (fig. 1, position 11) and tighten appro-
priately so that a good seal achieved in
the thread of the compressor and air does
not leak out. To connect the car tyre valve,
screw the hose with the car tyre valve end
(fig. 1, position 7b) into the compressor;
for inflating items with a different type of
valve, screw in the hose with the thread
for screwing in inflating adapters (fig. 1,
position 7a) into the compressor.
2a. In the case, where the car tyre hose is
installed, screw off the „cap“ on the valve,
tilt open the lever on the air hose connec-
tion valve and slide the air hose connection
valve on to the valve of the tire and then
tilt down the lever so that air does not
leak out of the valve. Prior to starting the
compressor, check that the valve connector
is correctly seated on the valve of the tyre.
2b. In the event that the hose with the flange
is installed (fig. 1, position 7a), screw the
flange on to the thread of the inflating
adapter (fig. 1, position 12 to 14) based on
the type of valve on the item that is being
inflated and tighten appropriately so that
the thread joint seals well.
CHECKING THE CURRENT
TYRE PRESSURE
y
If the compressor is connected to the tyre
valve, press the „UNITS“ button and the
current tyre pressure will be shown on the
display. Repeatedly pressing the „UNITS“
button will toggle between the pressure
units of PSI, BAR, kPa or kg/cm
2
. The set
pressure unit is the one that is shown on
the display. Find out the correct pressure to
which the tyres are to be inflated as this is
important for safe travel. In the event that
the pressure in the tyre is lower than is pre-
scribed, it is necessary to inflate the tyre to
the prescribed pressure.
SETTING PRESSURE UNITS
y
Repeatedly press the „UNITS“ button to set
the required pressure units of of PSI, BAR,
kPa or kg/cm
2
. The set pressure unit is the
one that is shown on the display.
SETTING THE PRESSURE VALUE
y
Press button „+“ to set the required pressure
value. The currently set pressure value is
shown on the display. To set the value quick-
ly, hold down button „+“. Adjust the value
by individually pressing the „+“ button.
Button „-“ is used to reduce the pressure
value. To quickly reduce the pressure value,
hold down button „-“. Adjust the value by
individually pressing the „-“ button.
V. Operating
the compressor
y
If the pressure is set, press the operation
control button (fig. 1, position 6) to start
inflating with air and the LED lights will be
lit at the same time. The inflating process
automatically stops as soon as the preset
preset value is reached.
y
The inflating process can also be stopped
manually by pressing the operating control
button (fig. 1, position 6).
y
In the event of over-inflation, tilt open the
lever on the valve connector and reduce the
tyre pressure by bleeding the air. Then tilt
the valve connector lever back down and
perform a pressure check. In the event of
under-inflation, increase the pressure to the
required level according to the procedure
described above.
•
ATTENTION
y
The cordless compressor is intended for
moderately increasing the pressure in car
tyres (for inflating tires) to the prescribed
tyre pressure. The cordless compressor is not
intended for inflating empty or extremely
under-inflated car tyres.
y
After inflating, disconnect the air hose from
the valve.
•
ATTENTION
y
Battery power is significantly reduced at low
or high ambient temperatures (thereby also
the power output of the compressor) and
the lifetime of the battery is also reduced.
The compressor should not be operated
unless it has had enough time to stabilize to
a temperature in the range of 10 °C to 40 °C.
Charge the compressor at an ambient tem-
perature of 10 °C to 40 °C.
CONTROLLING THE LED LIGHT
y
When the LCD display is not activated, turn on/
off the compressor‘s LED light by pressing the
operating control button (fig. 1, position 6).
AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF WHEN IDLE
y
If no pressure is detected (<0.2 bar), the
compressor will automatically turn off after
one minute of inactivity.
VI. Safety
instructions for
the AC/DC charging
adapter (charger)
y
Read the user‘s manual before charging.
y
The charger is intended only for charging indo-
ors. It is necessary to protected it against rain,
high humidity and temperatures over 40 °C.
y
Prevent the charger from being used by
persons (including children) whose physical,
