T200S

Performing a Sweep Sequence

In the

Sweep control

area, configure the sweep as explained in the following table:

The selected parameters appear in the

Parameters

area of the SWEEP window.

Description

Trigger in

: the laser sweep is controlled by an input trigger. For

: the laser sweep is controlled manually.

Trigger out

: the T200S generates an output trigger signal when it

sweeps. For more details, see

Trigger Signal During Sweep

on page 36.

: the T200S does not generate output trigger signal

when it sweeps.

One-way

The T200S sweeps from the start to the stop specified

wavelength/frequency at the specified sweep speed and

returns to the initial wavelength at maximum speed.

Two-way

Not available.

Auto return

: the laser automatically goes back to the start

wavelength/frequency at maximum speed when the laser

reaches the stop wavelength/frequency at the end of the

sweep sequence.

If you touch the

Stop

button during the sweep sequence,

the auto return does not apply: the laser stays at its actual

position.

: the laser stays at the same position when it reaches

the stop wavelength/frequency at the end of the sweep

sequence.

Backlash

: the mechanical backlash is always eliminated before

the start of a sweep.

: no control on the mechanical backlash is performed.
