The Record Type
You can set up the recording settings on this page.
Select
Enable
to display the following settings. Select
Disable
will hide the settings.
Note:
If the schedule record is enabled, the
Event
function (see
7.5 Event
) will be automatically
disabled. You can only use either schedule record or the event record.

The Schedule Mode

You can set up the record schedule. Please select a desired recording
schedule mode (
Every day
/
Week day
/
Schedule date
) for setting a record start / end time and date.
Every day:
Enter a desired start / end time for everyday recording.
Week day:
Enter a desired start / end time and select desired week days for recording.
Schedule date:
Select a desired start / end day and enter a desired start / end time for recording.

Record Parameters

You can configure the recording source video stream, recording interval and
file name.
Source:
Select the desired video stream. The video stream can be configured in
7.2.2 Streaming
.
The Recording Interval:
The user can limit the size of each recording file here (in minutes).
When a
single recording file exceeds the time you set, the system will create a new file to save that data to.
Record Prefix File Name:
Enter a name for the recording files. The maximum length is 20 digits.
Enable cyclic recording:
Check the box for overwriting recording file when the storage capacity is
full.
