Using Your Booster Seat in Backless

Booster Mode

Using the Shoulder Belt Clip

Booster

1. Attach shoulder belt clip as shown.

2. Place booster on vehicle

seat.
Attach the shoulder belt

clip

to the vehicle

shoulder belt

3. Adjust shoulder belt clip.

Pull the adjustment

strap

until the belt

clip

is even with the

child’s shoulder, and the

vehicle shoulder belt

lays across the child’s

chest midway between

shoulder and neck.

Reverse steps above to

remove shoulder belt clip

before converting to high-

back booster mode (pg. 63)

or harness mode (pg. 57).

If the shoulder belt does not cross midway between

child’s shoulder and neck, then the shoulder belt clip

must be used.
