add

application

19.48.1 Syntax

security add application <shortname> <longname>

19.48.2 Description

This command creates a security application that you can configure to allow
incoming access for an Internet application to one of your LAN PCs. Two
names are assigned to a security application:

•

The

shortname

identifies the application using the CLI interface.

•

The

longname

identifies the application using the Web interface.

If you switch between the CLI and Web interfaces, you must use the short and
long names respectively to configure the security application.

19.48.3 Options

The following table gives the range of values for each option which can be
specified with this command and a default value (if applicable).
