ip interface add proxyarpentry 

12.49.1 Syntax 

ip interface {<name>|<number>} add proxyarpentry 
<ipaddress> [<netmask>] 

12.49.2 Description 

This command configures proxy ARP functionality on an existing IP interface. 
This means that an interface responds to ARP requests for both its own 
address and for any address that has been configured as a proxy ARP 
address. 
You can configure proxy ARP functionality on a single address or a range of 
addresses. Once you have configured a range of proxy ARP interfaces, you 
can set one or more addresses in the range to 

not

 respond to proxy ARP 

using the 

ip interface add proxyarpexclusion

 command. 

12.49.3 Options 

The following table gives the range of values for each option which can be 
specified with this command and a default value (if applicable).
