18.2.1 Syntax
rfc1483 add transport <name> <port> <vpi> <vci>
{llc|vcmux} {bridged|routed}
18.2.2 Description
This command creates a named RFC1483 transport and allows you to specify
the following:
•
The ATM port that will transport RFC1483 data.
•
VPI (Virtual Path Identifier).
•
VCI (Virtual Circuit Identifier).
•
LLC or VcMux encapsulation (optional).
•
Bridged or Routed (optional).
The port/VPI/VCI combination must be unique for each transport.
18.2.3 Options
The following table gives the range of values for each option which can be
specified with this command and a default value (if applicable).

An arbitrary name that identifies the
transport. It can be made up of one or
more letters or a combination of letters
and digits, but it cannot start with a
digit.

The system port that is used to
transport ATM data.

vpi
A field in the ATM header. The VPI is
used to identify the virtual path that a
circuit belongs to. The VPI can be any
value between 0 and 4095.
