1 S1D13503 / S1D13502 Comparison

The S1D13503 is pin compatible with, and includes all features of the S1D13502. This allows an easy upgrade path for the
system designer, both from the hardware and software aspect. The purpose of this document is to briefly describe the differ-
ences between these two controllers, for further details refer to the individual Hardware Functional Specifications.

1.1 Feature Comparison

Note

16-bit color panel support is provided by the S1D13503 using external logic.

All other features not mentioned above are supported by both controllers. See the S1D13503 Hardware Functional Speci-
fication, X18A-A-001-xx, and the S1D13502 Hardware Functional Specification, X16-SP-001-xx, for further details.
