PLATE ASSY BTM

1. Remove the Paper Cassette.

2. While installing the Paper Cassette, check to see if

the PLATE ASSY BTM is pushed up.

3. Push and release the PLATE ASSY BTM by hand

repeatedly and check its operation.

4. By visual inspection, check that the PLATE ASSY

BTM is not inclined in the lateral direction.

Is the PLATE ASSY BTM pushed up when the
Paper Cassette is installed and does it move up and
down smoothly?

Go to Step 5

Replace the

Are the side guides located too tight for the paper?
