Local operation

5.3.1

Locking the configuration mode

The Levelflex can be protected in two ways against unauthorized changing of device data,
numerical values or factory settings:

"unlock parameter" (0A4):

A value

diagnostics

function group. The lock is indicated on the display by the symbol and can

be released again either via the display or by communication.

Hardware locking:

The device is locked by pressing the

only

be unlocked again via the display by pressing the

keys at the same time again. It is

not

possible to unlock the hardware by

communication. All parameters can be displayed even if the device is locked.
