Connecting handheld
terminals
•
For protection EEx d do not connect handheld terminals in the explosion hazardous
area.
•
Do not replace the battery of the handheld terminal in the explosion hazardous area.
•
For the Cerabar S with FM or CSA certificate: Electrical connections as shown in
"Installation Drawing" or "Control Drawing" (enclosed in the packing with the Cerabar
S).
•
For correct transmission of the communication signal, a minimum load of 250
Ω
must
be present between the connection points and the power supply.
Connecting the
Commubox FXA 191 for
operating via
Commuwin II The Commubox FXA 191 connects intrinsically safe Smart transmitters with a HART or
INTENSOR protocol to the RS 232 C serial interface of a personal computer. This enables
the transmitter to be remotely operated with the Hauser Commuwin II operating
program. The Commubox FXA 191 is designed for use in intrinsically safe signal circuits.
