9.1.2

Check of the operation liquid

WARNUNG

Hot operating liquid

Risk of burns caused by hot oil vapours when opening the filler
screw while the device has operating temperature.

– Operating liquid may only be checked, refilled or drained in

the shut-off and cold condition.

– The ELDRO

device may only be opened at a maximum tem-

perature of 40°C.

▪

NOTE

If the fill level is too low, the device will not develop the full lifting
force.

If it is filled too much, an impermissibly high device pressure is cre-
ated.

The ELDRO

devices are filled for correct operation when the operat-

ing liquid level in the vertical upright position and with the lifting rod
retracted reaches the lower edge within the filler opening.

Notice the information on disassembly if the ELDRO

device is

not installed in vertical upright position (

Bring the ELDRO

device into a vertical position.

▪

Remove the filler screw from the filler neck.

▪

Check the fill level depending on the ELDRO

type and refill if nec-

essary.
