WARNING
Pre-tensioned return spring
Risk of injury when opening the ELDRO
®
device caused by the pre-
tensioned return spring.
– Never try to open the ELDRO
®
device to reach the reset
spring.
– Only instructed trained personnel with corresponding occupa-
tional qualification and special tools (e.g. disassembly tool for
devices with c-springs) may open the ELDRO
®
device.
WARNING
Movement of the cylinder
There is a risk of being crushed between obstacles in the surround-
ings and the cylinder or connected components through the auto-
matic retraction of the cylinder by means of the return spring in
case of a pressure drop in the hydraulics system or interruption of
the energy supply.
– When switching off the motor, the cylinder will move back into
the end position.
– Before deinstalling the ELDRO
®
device, the connected unit,
e.g. the brake, must be secured against movements.
