A. Main body

5. Apply a witness mark from the main body (A) onto the baseplate to show the

rotational alignment.

6. Using one spanner hold the main body (A) of the temperature sensor to prevent it

turning while using the second spanner to loosen cap (D). Remove the temperature
sensor assembly B, C, D, and E.

Note

The torque applied when installing the temperature sensor in the factory was
30 Nm.

7. Discard the faulty temperatures sensor (E), retaining the cap (D), follower (C) and

seal (B).

8. Inspect the replacement temperature sensor (E) for damage. If damaged contact

your local customer care representative.

9. Slide in order the cap (D), follower (C) and seal (B) onto the temperature sensor (E)

and insert the assembly into the main body (A). Adjust the height of the
temperature sensor (E) in the main body (A) and tighten the cap (D) by hand to lock
in position.
