Drive principle

2.2.1 Manual operation

2.1.1 Control signal “open”: counter-clockwise rotation, valve

opens.

2.1.2 Control signal “closed”: clockwise rotation, valve closes.

To operate the manual override during power failure

or setting use the handwheel. You do not need to

engage or disengage the manual override before

manual operation.

Note

•

The manual override design is intended for

use in emergency situations without electrical

power to the actuator.

•

If the handwheel is turned while the actua

tor is in control, the actuator will compensate

and attempt to move the actuator to its origi

nal commanded position.

The handwheel does not rotate during power opera

tion.

• Turn the handwheel clockwise to close the valve.

• Turn the handwheel counter-clockwise to open

the valve.
