MOUNtING tHE ELQ UNIt ON A VALVE

Remove handle nut, handle, lockwasher, etc. from

valve if required. Check position of valve.

There are two possibilities for mounting the ELQ unit:

• Direct mounting.
• Bracket mounting.

3.0.2 Bracket mounting

• Mount bracket and adaptor on valve.

• Place insert in bottom flange at actuator.

3.0.1 Direct mounting

• Place insert in bottom flange of actuator.

3.0.3 Normal valve rotation

Valves are manufactured so that they oper

-

ate in only one 90 degree segment. The

actuator should be mounted for counterclock-

wise rotation to open and clockwise to close

the valve.
