CONNECtING CONtrOL SIGNALS
The ELQ-actuator has a terminal compartment with a
plug connector for control signals.
All control signals can be connected to the terminals
inside this compartment. In case of maintenance or
replacement of the valve/actuator unit, the terminal
compartment can be unplugged from the ELQ-actu
-
ator and plugged into an other actuator. You do not
need to reconnect all the control wiring.
Note
-
Before connecting the power supply connect
all options properly (see option instructions).
-
Use and mount cable glands as required by
national or local legislation.
-
When IP65, IP67 or NEMA4X ingress protec
-
tion is required, the electrical entries must be
fitted with equivalent or higher rated glands
or blindplugs.
AtEX Installation instructions
See chapter 1.2 and 1.3 for use of Flame
-
proof ELQ actuators in ATEX classified
hazardous areas.
Warning
Terminal compartment must be electronically
isolated before any disassembly is begun.
5.1
Connecting “Open” and “Close” con-
