Unpacking the washing machine
Unpack the washing machine and make sure that it has not been damaged during
transport. Also make sure that all the components shown in the “Overview” section
are present.
Contact the retailer immediately if the washing machine has been damaged during
transport or if any components are missing.
Disposing of packaging
The packaging materials used on this washing machine can be harmful to children.
Dispose of packaging correctly and make sure that children cannot play with it.
Dispose of packaging according to local regulations. Do not dispose of packaging
material with regular household waste.
Removing transit bolts
Remove the transit bolts from the rear of the washing
machine before you use it.
1. Undo all the transit bolts with a ring spanner and
remove them. (Save them for future use.)
2. Cover the holes that remain with the caps provided.
Choose the location
Before installing the washing machine, you need to choose a location that meets
the following requirements:
•
A stable, dry and flat surface (see diagram on
Adjusting the legs if the floor is not flat).
•
Make sure there is adequate ventilation.
•
The room temperature must exceed 0°C.
Levelling
1. Undo the nuts on the feet by hand.
2. Adjust the feet until the appliance is level and steady.
3. Tighten all the lock nuts.
Electrical supply
•
Make sure that the available electrical system capable of powering the appliance
(current, voltage and wiring), see the rating plate.
•
Plug in the appliance to a correctly installed and earthed wall socket.
•
Do not use a plug or extension cord that are intended for other types of
international plugs.
•
Do not touch the plug if you have wet hands.
•
Grasp the plug firmly when you plug it in or unplug it. Never pull on the
power cord.
•
If the power cord is damaged or shows signs of being defective, it must be
replaced immediately (contact the manufacturer or service centre).
