Regardless of which method you use to select a source, the image will be
displayed according to the parameters (the channel) last defined for that source.
It will resize as needed, producing an image as large as possible while
maintaining the original aspect ratio. If you have not yet defined any parameters,
a new channel is temporarily defined according to a default mode table defined
in the projector. This will not be saved as a new channel unless you change a
parameter.
To use a new source with VistaGRAPHX 2500, a new channel must be added to
your system so that the projector will respond properly to input from that source
in the future. A new channel can be created automatically, or you can use the
"New" button in the Channel List menu.
A channel is automatically created when an input signal is sent to the projector
and a parameter is changed (such as adjusting brightness, etc.). The "channel#"
assigned to an automatically created channel will be the highest available
number from 99 down. Automatic channels will not appear by default in any
source list that may appear whenever you press
— you must first enter a
checkmark for the "In Menu" option in the Channel List menu for each
automatic channel desired.
You can also perform a channel setup from within the Channel List menu
accessed from the main menu. This procedure is as follows:
From the presentation level press to bring up the main menu. Press , or
move the highlight to the Channel List icon and press to display the
Channel List menu.
