Pixel Track
On a remote keypad, select either the
or
"Pixel Track" key to begin
increasing or decreasing the frequency of the pixel sampling clock to correct the
proportion of the image. See 3.6, Adjusting the Image (Image Size / Position
subsection).
Pixel Phase
On a remote keypad, select either the
or
"Pixel Phase" key to begin
increasing or decreasing the phase of the pixel sampling clock so that any
shimmer disappears and the image is stable throughout. See 3.6, Adjusting the
Image (Image Size / Position subsection).
Mute
Press (and hold for a second or two) to turn the audio on or off when at
presentation level. Press again to regain the audio.
Pan
This key has no function.
Function Key
FROM PRESENTATION LEVEL:
Press
followed by numbers to select a projector
or to adjust certain settings in the Size / Position or Image Settings menus
without first going through the main menu system. For example, press
to change the “left blanking” option, or press to use this specific
projector. Note that you can suppress the display of the slidebar by first turning
slidebars off in the Preferences menu.
Most pre-assigned 2-digit “direct access codes” are listed on the back of the
remote keypad and are defined in 3.6, Adjusting the Image.
NOTES: 1) Once
is pressed in presentation level, the projector will not
respond to non-numeric entry until 2 digits have been entered or until 5 seconds
of inactivity have elapsed. 2) Certain engineering codes will freeze an image or
display an unfamiliar menu or image. Should you accidentally select one of
these special codes, press
to return to cancel the function and return to
presentation level.
FROM MENU LEVEL:
During an adjustment, press
to temporarily hide the
current menu system component, such as slidebar or menu. When you have
completed this "blind" adjustment and want to recover the menus, press any
other key.
NOTE: In the Channel List menu,
initiates an editing mode for channels (for
entering names, etc.) rather than hiding the menu.
"Plus" symbol
Press to adjust a parameter level UP, such as on a volume slidebar. Additional
uses for this key within slidebars, checkboxes, pull-down lists, etc. are noted in
the Using Slidebars and Other Controls subsection below.
