OPERATION

Most of the seven function menus allow you to edit parameters through
slidebars, checkboxes, and pull-down lists. To select a slidebar, toggle a
checkbox status, or view a pull-down list, do one of the following from a
function menu:

Enter the menu option number corresponding to the setting you wish to
change (for example press
to select Left Blanking).
•
Or move the highlight to the desired parameter and press .
•
Or move the highlight and press
or (or use and
), such as with
slidebars.
•
Or bypass the menus entirely and use the key to access a parameter
immediately during your presentation (
note: applies to certain options only
).
Once selected, change the setting as desired (see below) and press Enter to save
and return to the current function menu.
NOTE: You can bypass the key and press or to adjust immediately.
SLIDEBARS -
The current level for a given menu parameter such as brightness,
contrast, etc., is displayed in the center of the slidebar. This number usually
expresses a percentage, or it may have units associated with it (such as pixels,
degrees Kelvin, etc.). Press
or keys — or
or — to adjust a level up
or down. As you increase or decrease the level, both the value and the size of the
bar change accordingly. Press
to accept your changes.
“DIRECT” SLIDEBARS -
For quick access, you can go directly to a slidebar
without using the menu system. For example, simply press to immediately
display the same contrast slidebar access with the Contrast option in the Image
Settings menu. Direct slidebars are listed below:
