Transmit Crystal Filter Selection (Per-Mode)
This step applies only to filters on the RF board.
Select CW mode by tapping

(2.7 or 2.8 kHz).
Note:

a narrower filter is selected for CW transmit.

-kHz 5-pole filter for SSB
transmit, you can optionally fine-tune its
FLx FRQ
parameter to equalize LSB and USB transmit
characteristics. Monitor with a separate receiver and
use headphones, or have another station listen.
Option Module Enables
K3 options can be installed at any time.
Once an option has been installe d, use the
associate dCO NFIG menu entry to enable it (see
below). Then turn the K3 off for 5 seconds, and
back on. This allows the K3 to find and test the
module .
