Maintenance of the heat pump
It is important to keep the system
clean and tidy. Moreover, it is neces-
sary to carry out the airtight sealing
tests prescribed.
From an energy point of view, espe-
cially in the case of new builds, have
a specialist optimise the characteristic
curve of heating in the second winter
after commissioning. Reason: by this
time, the initial humidity will have dis-
sipated, therefore a lower heating
power will be necessary.
It is fundamental to clean the air pas-
sages from dust or other foreign bod-
ies. The inlet and discharge opening
must be kept clear of obstructions (for
example leaves or debris)
.
Maintenance of the AEROTOP S heat
pump must be carried out only by
specifically trained technicians.
Any work carried out on the heat
pump by unauthorised persons or
companies will result in the loss of
any right to warranty.
Cleaning the condensation drain
In order to ensure perfect operation,
the collection tank and discharge of
condensation must be kept clear of
coarse dirt.
To this end, it may be necessary to
carry out periodic cleaning. The fre-
quency of cleaning needs to be estab-
lished on the basis of local conditions,
preferably before the start of winter.
Fine dirt can be expelled by the con-
densation discharge itself. Medium
dirt must be vacuumed away, other-
wise there is a risk that it obstructs
the condensation discharge.
Cleaning of the condensation drain
must be carried out only by specifical-
ly trained technicians. To ensure optimal operation, we
recommend you take out a mainte-
nance contract.
